Custom kitchen cabinets in Gaspésie
Atelier Multidécor designs and builds your custom kitchen cabinets in Saint-Siméon-de-Bonaventure. New cabinet boxes built to your dimensions, with the finish of your choice: painted shaker, thermoplastic, or solid wood. CNC cutting for precision, hand finishing for detail, in a complete Gaspésie workshop since 1994. We serve Gaspésie and Bas-Saint-Laurent.

Why custom kitchen cabinets?
A custom kitchen is not only a question of dimensions. The cabinet-box construction, the cutting precision, and the finish decide how the kitchen ages, especially in the coastal climate of Gaspésie.
Built custom, not flat-pack
Every kitchen is built in our workshop to your exact dimensions. New, sturdy cabinet boxes, not new doors stuck onto old cabinets.
CNC cutting and hand finishing
We cut on the 4x8 CNC for precision and finish by hand for detail. No subcontracting on either step. One workshop, one accountable party.
Designed and built in Gaspésie
Thirty years of kitchens installed in the region. We have watched these kitchens age in the Gaspésie climate, not just on delivery day.
Custom, from design to installation
Consultation, plan-based design, fabrication, and installation: everything goes through our workshop. You deal with one contact, not a chain of subcontractors.
Finishes of your choice
We build the cabinet box custom, then you choose the finish to fit your budget and how the kitchen is used.
Painted shaker
Painted shaker doors in the colour of your choice. The most common finish for a clean, modern kitchen, from classic white to deep grey.
Thermoplastic and polymer
A seamless surface, moisture-resistant and easy to maintain. Good value for a uniform finish.
Solid wood on request
Walnut, oak, cherry, maple. Sealed solid wood tolerates coastal humidity cycles over a 30-year horizon and beyond. The high-end finish, for a kitchen that ages like furniture, not like a surface coating.
Kitchens we have built in Gaspésie
Kitchens designed, built, and installed by the workshop for our clients in the region: shaker doors, island, pantry, and custom storage. Solid wood is available on request for projects that call for it.

Our process, from consultation to installation
Initial consultation
You describe your project: kitchen dimensions, budget, finish under consideration. We discuss possibilities and limits, honestly. No commitment at this stage.
On-site measurement
We measure your kitchen on site, before drawing anything. Precision starts here, not at installation time.
Plan-based design and finish selection
We draw the plans at the workshop and present the finishes with samples: painted shaker, thermoplastic, or solid wood. You see the material before you decide.
Fabrication in Saint-Siméon-de-Bonaventure
The kitchen is built in our Gaspésie workshop. CNC cutting for precision, hand finishing for detail. Quality control before the kitchen leaves the workshop.
Installation and follow-up
We deliver and install your kitchen, or we provide detailed instructions for self-installation. Warranty and follow-up service included.
Frequently asked questions
How much do custom kitchen cabinets cost?
The price depends on the finish chosen, the number of linear feet, and the configuration: island, pantry, specific storage. A painted-shaker kitchen does not compare to a solid-wood kitchen. Rather than quote a figure that would mislead, we prepare a precise quote after on-site measurement.
What finishes do you offer for a kitchen?
Three main families: painted shaker (colour of your choice), thermoplastic or polymer (seamless, easy to maintain), and solid wood on request (walnut, oak, cherry, maple). We present each option with samples and explain how it ages in a coastal climate.
What is the difference between custom and semi-custom cabinets?
Semi-custom cabinets are chosen from fixed sizes. Custom cabinets are built to your exact dimensions, with the storage you actually use. The difference shows mostly after fifteen years of use.
Can you build a custom kitchen island at the same time as the cabinets?
Yes. The island, the upper cabinets, the pantry, and the panel work are designed together, in the same finish. Everything is built in the same workshop.
How long does it take to build a custom kitchen?
The lead time depends on plan approval, the workshop fabrication queue, and the installation date. We give a realistic timeline at quote time. A custom kitchen is planned; it does not come off a warehouse shelf.
Do you deliver and install kitchen cabinets outside Bonaventure?
Yes. Our workshop is in Saint-Siméon-de-Bonaventure and we serve all of Gaspésie and Bas-Saint-Laurent: Bonaventure, Carleton-sur-Mer, Chandler, Maria, Percé, New Richmond, Rimouski, and the surrounding area. Projects farther afield are reviewed case by case.
