Custom-order projects

Custom-order projects: nine kinds of work our workshop already builds

Interior signage, trophies, engraved items, school and commercial furniture, signs, laser engraving, solid wood beds, epoxy pieces and marine woodwork. Find your project in this list and call the workshop.

Baltic birch conference lectern, custom CNC engraving made in the workshop.

Each entry links to the guide or page that covers the material, the format and the process. A single piece is quoted the same way as a series: after we have seen the project.

Interior signage

We produce door plates, room names and directional panels in series, from a single approved template. The engraved wood, in walnut, oak, cherry, maple or ash, carries a relief that print does not. In 2026 we delivered a Baltic birch conference lectern to a Baie-des-Chaleurs school, the school's name engraved on the CNC.

Carved wood medallion, precision CNC engraving made in the workshop.

Trophies and plaques

A trophy or a commemorative plaque is cut on the CNC and then laser-engraved: wall plaque, block, cutout silhouette on a base, or medallion. The text lasts as long as the piece, in maple, walnut, cherry, oak or ash indoors, in slate for sheltered outdoor use. We proofread every name and date before starting the engraving.

Engraved and promotional items

Keychains, coasters, tags, wood-handled bottle openers and medallions are produced in series on our 915 x 458 mm laser bed. Engraved wood cuts into the surface and lasts, unlike a printed item that circulates for a few weeks. We take orders from 50 to 500 pieces, for a trade show, a festival or a year-end gift.

School lockers in black melamine, custom-built for a school.

School and commercial furniture

We build school and institutional storage in textured melamine: lockers, adjustable shelving and room cabinets, built to the exact dimensions of the building. The same workshop builds reception desks and office fit-outs for businesses in the Baie-des-Chaleurs. We build and deliver; installation stays reserved for residential projects.

Recognize your project?

A call or an email is enough to know whether wood, melamine or laser engraving fits your project, before any drawing starts.

Signs

A sign machined on the CNC and laser-engraved in wood reads from across the street and lasts about fifteen years with regular upkeep. We build facade signs, hanging signs on a bracket, and panels for inns, marinas and businesses, up to a 4 x 8 foot format. Outdoor signage must follow Quebec's Charter of the French Language; we account for it at the design stage.

Laser engraving

Our 80 W CO2 laser engraves and cuts solid wood, acrylic, leather, glass and slate on a 915 x 458 mm bed per pass. A single piece and a series follow the same process: a vector file prepared once, then engraved as many times as needed. It is the widest-reaching service in our catalogue, delivered anywhere in Quebec.

Solid wood beds

We build custom beds, from a single bed to a king size at 76 by 80 in, in oiled walnut, oak, cherry, maple or ash, or in textured melamine with built-in storage. The CNC-machined parts fit without play and reassemble identically, year after year. A bed designed to be knocked down ships anywhere in Quebec, reassembled with an Allen key.

Wood and epoxy resin game board, poured and hand-sanded in the workshop.

Epoxy pieces

Epoxy allows effects no other material gives: a river table, a counter with inlays, a game board or wall art, poured and hand-sanded in our workshop. Every pour is watched and every layer sanded before the next, for a seamless surface. Epoxy pieces are among the ones our workshop can ship beyond the Baie-des-Chaleurs.

Marine woodwork

We design and build custom boat interiors, in teak and holly, for sailboats and pleasure craft. Restoring existing teak woodwork follows the same know-how, with the same species and the same hand finishing as our cabinetry. This work is handled case by case, depending on the boat and the yard.
